the AXi line of PSUs (like the one that blew up in this reviews) are made by an OEM called flextronix who aren't very good. As of right now its still not clear but as long as users are not getting stiffed I think this is OK. Usually ASUS only denies a warranty claim if there is physical damage on the board, bent pins or something along the lines of user abuse. Its just not right.
