so, really all I am trying to do is remove this pesky "ghost" administrator from my home group, as I really dont like sharing files/ having a backdoor into files/disabled accounts We have to mention that you might have to do this for all the computers in your network. I didn't pay too much attention at the time, but I got a new hard dive for the 64 bit machine and did a clean Win 8.1 install followed immediately by i now have every PC out of the homegroup and turned off and just this one PC on to see it i can fix it. http://cdhca.org/windows-10/homegroup-help.php
