If they're connected through something like a Matrox DualHead2Go, or an AMD Eyefinity setup, they would only show up as one large display to Windows. Sometimes it's a notification there to "Finish installing Device Software". But now it won't duplicate anymore because apparently there's "no signal" even though the tv detected it. PC specs below. sooo, I right-clicked again and selected "DISABLE" - then, I re-enabled and VOILA!
My pc used to detect my second display with no problem. My workaround is to open display settings where everything looks like it should. (as though the second monitor was working properly, it isn't, just a black screen) I change to "show I need HELP! I have two different home screens on each monitor and when I use the mouse, it will extend to both screens the way I wanted it to originally.
